Kristin is a Master’s-level social worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She is the founder of Rooted Within LLC and brings a social work perspective to mental health care, grounded in a whole-person approach that considers emotional needs alongside relational, physical, and environmental factors.
Her experience includes case management and supporting vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing housing and/or financial insecurity, which informs both her clinical and consultation work. She has worked in the behavioral and mental health field for 20 years. Kristin’s work is trauma-informed, collaborative, and thoughtfully paced, with a focus on safety, self-understanding, and meaningful, sustainable change for both individuals and systems.
